About Us

"Electric" Mike Kelly

... is a 29 year broadcast veteran living in Sacramento, CA.  He’s been a morning radio personality and production director during that time, and also owns Electric Mic Productions, a recording studio that produces advertising jingles for radio & TV, motion picture scoring and music for commercial release.  Having been a filmmaker since age 13, video production is also something he enjoys for work and play.

Since his first visit to Disneyland at age 5, he’s been inspired by Walt’s vision and boundless creativity.  He even built a Tiki Room on the patio in the back yard to entertain the neighborhood.  We’re talkin’ plastic parrots on sticks with fishing line to make ‘em turn.  Now that’s Imagineering.

 A classically trained musician, Mike studied harpsichord, pipe organ and composition at CSU, Sacramento and the San Francisco Conservatory.  At 18, he became “Composer-in-Residence” for Sacramento’s Camellia Symphony Orchestra, appearing as a guest artist in the performance of his commissioned works.  Off to a brilliant start, right?  Then…He discovered girls. 

As the years have passed, he has become even more well-rounded (thanks to In-N-Out Burger), but his love of Disneyland and decades-old friendship with Steve “Kiltboy” Michaels have remained constant.

...is a 40+ year broadcast veteran, and also a lifelong Disneyland fan since his first trip in 1957.  He’s even pictured riding the Flying Saucers in the 1960’s in Randy Bright’s book Disneyland Inside Story.

As For the wardrobe…Yes, he is indeed of Scottish heritage from the Clan Stewart, and shows off the tartan wherever he goes.
